Finally it looks like they used CVD deposited to match the champagne tone and actually played around with the parameters to match. That's the best gold plated rep I've seen!

Still to big & to fat, and the shape orf the “R” is so wrong ever since

Have the feeling CF use the same font from day one. Not sure if this is the case

However,
you see this only in a high res comparison, side by side.
(& I’m pretty sure no one will recognize in real life)

The method they used is a thicker deposit of TiN than the traditional ones and more scratch resistant so should be fine.

Loving this watch but I’m also loving the detailed photos of CF Daytona’s compared to the gens. Aesthetically pleasing to see the comparisons. Now to decide which ones to buy…

As a Rolex noob the font on the bezel looks different to me. Anyone else notice that too? Looks less crisp.
