Clean 116520 Deep crystal does not fit rep crystal gasket

hi there!

received my deep crystal and wanted to fit it on my clean 116520.
surprisingly the deep crystal does not fit into the rep gasket. You can rotate the crystal with your fingers

do i need to get a gen or aftermarket 25-295 2,3mm crystal gasket? i thought i read somehwre that you would have to use the rep gasket?

@KJ2020 has expirience in shaveing gaskets when xtals wont fit, maybe he can enlighten you with information about deep xtal.

@derjenigewelcher He won't need to shave a gasket down that's already too large to support the crystal firmly though. Needs a new gasket.
