Chronomat Evolution wrong size case..Breitling experts only

I was wondering with all the buzz about the new ultimate Chronomat Evo reps and why I have not seen a post about the case size. These are all listed as 42mm and the gen is 43.7mm. That's a big difference and means a great deal to me. I have seen a gen several times and was impressed with the size of the watch, it's close to my Pams. What's up with this Breitling experts????.....let's hear it. I have been waiting for the two tone models but can't get one now knowing the difference in size :wink:

The rep comes with case size of 43++mm same as the genuine.

Yep rep is same size, just some measure it with and others without the crown.

It depends on which version. The latest one is being labeled "Ultimate" which comes with correct case.

I have looked at just about every one and the ultimate is listed as 42.5mm

CASE DIAMETER: 42.5mm
THICKNESS: 16.5mm

the Gen is 43.7mm by 17.1mm

it's 43 near to 44... And for thickness... just like the genuine.

Then that would have to carry over to the new two tone models correct? I would think since they have the same crystal they would use the same case.

Sneilsen, Puretime is marketing his two-tone ones with the correct diameter measurements. You may want to give him a holla.

I'd be more bothered about the date font...but I'm not! :wink:

the difference is only in how they are measured, all of the ultimate versions are the same size (same as gen)

So many versions.... when you really look into them. I see them:

older 21.6
new 28.8
without AR
with dbl AR
with date font stick 1's
with better 1's
42 case
43+ case
with the hash after the 10 on the upper sub
without the hash after the 10

some with some of these combo's but missing others...... I know it's a pain but a agree with many past posts in that you almost have to ask for a pic of the watch before it's sent.
