When I push the start/stop button the timers all start as does the seconds hand. when I press again everything stops including the seconds had. I thought that the seconds hand would run independant of the chronos and only stop when the watch was wound down or when the crown is pulled all the way out?

If the seconds at position 9 stops ..then the oscillating pinion is not well assembled.

Yes, the running second hand is likely the small subdial at 9:00. The big hand that begins moving when you push the top chrono button is the chrono second hand. It's supposed to be pointed at 12:00 unless you're timing something.

would this be the big hand with the red tip and the B and anchor symbol? I thought that was always supposed to be going.

Your first real chrono? It's a common question.

Remember, chronos are not designed to be left running all the time. Let it run a couple of times a week to keep the gears "lubed."

Well, this is not correct.

Indeed, there is less wear if you run the chrono. The hour totalizer is suffering wear when it is stopped. You can have a look to this thread and check there how the clucth works:

viewtopic.php?f=224&t=49372

As a summary, you can run the crhonos always, you will only see a very bit less power reserve.... nothing more.

There are several urban legends about the 7750. For example,

1.- "do not connect the chrono with low power reserve" You can do it with 0 power reserve... absolutely no problem.

2.- "Do not press the reset button when the chrono is on". You can do it... absolutely no problem

Regards,

Francisco.

Dealer is direct from the Ganzough marketplace. China has close to 40 distinct watch dealers/makers in this area. This may be the entire chinese rep creating facility. I'm so tired of all these dealers wanting so much $$. i know they are in business to make a profit but these higher end watches cost maybe $50-$75.00 to create. the asian valjoux that is. I have also contacted swiss eta direct about purchasing movements from them. They said give them a little time to decide if i can buy from them.

Ok, so he is offering you $75 for a 7750 chrno watch??

We are still discussing price right now. I think maybe asian a7750 for 100 each 28.8 movement. Another consideration is just how many am I willing to buy at once. The min is 12 and of course there isn't a max.

I can't get that $100.00 price point yet. I think I'm getting close to the dealers floor. I have a few that I am seriously considering buying. have to hide them from the wife for a while though. Shes irritated and now complains that if I can do this then she can buy Jimmy Sho(sp)? shoes and real Prada handbags etc.

I was quoted now any kind of tag grand carrera including that black/red RS2 model for $265.00 Breitling Flying B's for $175.00 to $220.00 depending on the model. I'm having a lot of fun negotiating. I also like to see just what kinds of markups the legit dealers seem to have. It looks like at least Three to four hundred percent.

Ina bit of confusion I had one dealer change his price on a flying B that was already in my cart from $75.00 to over $500.00 and say I was mistaken and that I had a cheap looking 21j version. I tried to argue and in the confusion they thought i could get them the watches for $75.00

The following excerpt in directly from my email. Some things changed to protect the guilty. LOL

In another post I said they were seeking 100,000 plus watches since I couldn't believe that they could buy so many.
