Chrono avenger Ti quartz vs 7750

Does anyone know how the quartz chrono avenger Ti compares to the 7750 model? Are the subdials the same spacing? Are they the same (case/crown/crystal/pushers) except for the movement, or are they totally different? I was considering a used quartz as a donor for a swiss 7750 project. Any thoughts here?

The Quartz version also have second at 6, not at 9. Dial is printed that way too.

Also, dial spacing, case size wouldn't be the same. The Crystal is also Acrylic on the Quartz.

This is what I remember from the time I was looking for one.

After careful review I see these differences...

--Dial spacing at "9" is wrong. Shows the whole number 8 instead of half.
--Lume dots at each hour is a blob instead of flat.

Thats all I can tell. Did they fix this with an even newer revision? v2.1?

Ok i just found out that both the quartz & 7750 has a lightly AR coated sapphire crystal.

The "B" on the crown is smaller on some and bigger on others, wierd. :roll:

if you do this project I have rep dials available, and actually gen dials as well.....

the 7750 will just about fit into the Miyota OS10 case; or vice versa.

However, the 7750 is much, much thicker than the quartz, by about 5 mm. plus the clearance that the rotor needs. So the quartz case back is too shallow.

The Miyota will fit into a 7750 case easily, but then you need to find a spacer to fit.

Plus the smaller quartz crown will look odd.

Pusher rod lengths for the 7750 movt are shorter than for quartz movt

same comments for dials and subdial and date window etc etc etc

by the way - the lightly coated AR on the 7750 Chrono Avenger Titanium was only on the 1st generation which is not in production anymore

Trusty's desciption on his Quartz Chrono Avenger Titanium says slight AR on sapphire. This model is definitely ver.2.

Is this true? Should I believe this?
