I really hope I have the name correct but I remember seeing, some time ago Jason Statham wearing a Panerai watch with a gorgeous strap. It was described as a chopped bull strap - is this correct? If so, where might a fan be able to pick one up :D

Chopped bull strap?

All I've ever seen him wearing in any of his movies are OEM gator straps...

Where did you see this strap? Have you got any pics?

I may well have - I'll have to boot up my only recently retired laptop and check the hard drive.

To describe it, it was a chestnut brown colour with an unfinished looking edge and a thick off white stitch - unhelpful to the description as it may be, it was also really really gorgeous!

Really? I work in Godalming (the Americans on this site must think we're making these place names up!)

LOL - well maybe, but the Americans know people who live in places named odd things such as Dora, Missouri, so can hardly poke fun at our place names ;)

(my wife is from that part of the world, btw)

LOL

I know you guys aren't making this stuff up. I was lucky enough to spend a month in the UK about a year ago for work. 2 weeks in Bedford and another 2 weeks in the Holborn area of London.

The names of your towns are a little more elegant than the names of ours.

Ah, then you can't have come across "Duck End" "Much Haddam" or the incomparable "Pratt's Bottom" (yes, they all exist!)

:D
