Good question. I am sure they are both the same watch. You can request pictures from both dealers again. Agree that there is no regulator's on King's version but the latest Chopard that I have seen all comes with this regulator.

I would pick the one with the most accurate caseback but as taka says.. email them for current pics of exactly the watches they have in stock. This looks like it was probably two different production runs or a prototype or something and chances are that both dealers now have the same item with same caseback and movement. If you are wondering about who to buy from... all i can say is, I have used Angus at Puretime a number of times and smooth sailing and good communication.

Please let us know if in fact there are two different casebacks so we know who to buy from for accuracy. I really want one of this watches also but i have one or two others that i NEED first so it wont be any time soon :)

I will be very interested to hear the news too... There are at least 3 different generation of this watch already that I have seen.

Thank you all!

I have contacted King two times but I haven't got any reply yet...
As soon as I receive photos or answer I will let you know.
I also think that the caseback is more "important" than the regulator.

Let's see...

I think both are important as far as accuracy goes on this particular model. That's why I decided to go for closed caseback version. Thanks a lot for your info.

Tough question my friend... My choice is Chopard 045 but I guess 046 looks really good.

Looks to me that Chopard 045 and 044 comes from the same factory. If you notice, there isn't movement retainer ring in this watch (the movement has larger base). Otherwise dial, crystals look pretty much the same. I will take a closer look.

Takashi,
Thank you for spending your time "investigating" for my question!

So, we conclude that, except the differences in caseback and regulator, Puretimes' watch and King's 046 and 044 are all exactly the same, comparing dial, bezel, etc?

Just my feeling, the cyclop looks better on 046 model. What do you think? Otherwise the font on the dial, the hands, the bezel looks similar to me.

| can't tell about the cyclop.

I was thinking that maybe in the future there will be an absolutely accurate version.
It's what manufacturers always do to retain us in the game, don't they?

Regards

Well... It's the newest version has integrated cyclop on the crystal.
