I have bought a replica CHOPARD MILLE MIGLIA GTXL with Asian 7750 Automatic movement. I have seen that the watch "gains" a lot of minutes per day. The first days it was 1min/day, but lately it is more, apprx. 4min/day. Is it normal? The seller told me that the factory gives +/- 30sec/hour

Is is logical???

Thanks

+/- 30 sec/hour is the usual standard for dealers. If it's within that, it's fine for them. Actually, I have seen worse on genuine watches! If it's way more than that, you have a problem that the dealer should rectify. Do a search on the forum for ways to deal with that (there are a few posts about it). Or get a watchmaker to have a look at it (safer option!). Or send it back if you can't be stuffed.

PS: Look at a recent post I made about an extremely fast watch. Useful tips were provided to deal with that. viewtopic.php?f=59&t=45948

it should be running at +-5 seconds in 24 hours at best. my worst 7750 gains about 15/20 seconds in 24 hours. my gen rolex gains about 1/2 to 1 second in 24 hours and both of my seiko monsters gain about 20 seconds in 24 hours. if you are gaining 30 seconds in 1 hour it has a big problem.

Hallo again!

I have written down the time that my watch shown during a period of 25 consecutive hours. Here are the results:

Acrtual time -- Watch time -- Deviation
19.00 -- 19.00.00 -- 00.00 min
20.00 -- 20.00.50 -- 00.50 min
10.00 -- 10.07.35 -- 07.35 min
12.00 -- 12.09.38 -- 09.38 min
20.17 -- 20.37.00 -- 20.00 min

It seems that the watch gains 50secs/hour! I think that it is ABNORMAL! This is not a watch! I have noticed that as the days go by, the watch seems to gain more secs per hour. I also think that the watch does not gain a lot of minutes during the time I am sleeping in comparison to the rest hours of a day. It seems that it gains minutes due to any movement of my hand!

I am not a fan of accuracy but I cannot accept that by a watch! Do you know if this is fixable? Should I return it back to seller?

Thanks!
