I have been noticing many variations of this watch, a few dealers called it improved version. You can have a look at ALL dealers offering (Josh,TT,Puretime,Silix,Ruby,River). They are actually the same piece not the improved version which Trusty/Josh claimed from the same factory as HBB. At the time of writing, you can't really get the improved version yet. Tell tale from the improved version vs first version:

Look at the rotor. Old version is engraved and comes with CHOPARD on the writing. So called improved version has stickers on rotor more like HBB.
Lack of double sided AR. Old version has lack or inferior AR as compared to the new version (double AR).
CHOPARD font on the dial as well as GRAND TURISMO XL. They are too thin on the old version and comes with wrong font.

So far these are the easiest tell. The rep just doesn't seem right even on picture for the first version. Comments? Suggestions?

Josh and Andrew soo to be released version seems to be the best and very accurate. latest from Silix, river does not have the concentric circles texture on the subdials and the raised subdial is wrong colour. Although the stickers on the rotor is damn aweful on josh version, it would not matter if you get the limited edition one. The engraving is very good. My money goes to josh version if I were to buy it.

You are certainly right. Caseback on silver white dial looks very good on soon to be released version. Just by stock pictures, the 2 new versions look very promising.
