I just received http://www.watcheden.com/chopard-mile-milgia-gt-working-gmt-automatic-with-pvd-case-i-23009-p-1.html from Watch Eden today:

pic.php

The picture on the website is so deceiving, the quality of the watch is much better in the metal. I will post photos when I borrow my friend's camera.

This watch being my first automatic watch, I need help figuring out a few things. To set the time I unscrewed the crown ccw until it was loose, then pulled it out, and that was the date-setting position, next position out was the time setting. But it won't pull out further for the gmt setting (if that's how it's supposed to be done).

When I try to push the crown back into its position, it doesn't fit back between the crown guards, it's very tight. When I try to screw it back in by turning it clock wise, it only changes the date again.

Neither the watch or the movement resulted in anything by using the search function, so what do I do?

If it is independently adjustable then you would set it in the second position by turning the winder in the opposite direction you would to set the date.

I just tried doing that now FM, but nothing happens, the crown just turns. When I'm setting the time, the GMT hands follows the hour hand.

My problem now is the crown is still in the date-setting position, can't push it back in no matter how hard I press. i press hard and turn it clock wise, the date wheel moves.

If it is working like that then you got a slaved GMT movement. And the new issue is probably the keyless works. You more than likely were pulling so hard looking for the GMT function that something is out of sync. So STOP whatever you are doing. Don't push on it. Don't turn it. If you keep messing with it you will definitely end up with a problem. This may be easily fixable if you remove the stem and reinsert it. If you can't do this yourself take it to a local kiosk.

Fakemaster. I took it to a repair shop and it turns out the gmt function works just fine.. He managed to move the hand in the first attempt. He told me I just need to be slower and a little more delicate when I turn the crown.

My problem now is the crown returning to it's position without changing the date. It also has some sort of a spring. If I can't find a solution I'll just leave the watch as it is with the wrong date.
