I'm pretty much torn between the 2 - because, other then the obvious ( Cheaper Movement ) - they look pretty much exactly the same - but the price difference between the 2 versions is a massive $220 BUCKS!! ( $108 VS $328 )

Any insider tip as to which one is a smarter buy (duh.) - But really, are the cosmetic differences minute enough (excuse the pun) to settle for the $100 rep?

They really look the same when I keep flipping between the images. : /

Can't offer much help with the differences, but I can tell you that I got the cheaper (21J) version from Narikaa two weeks ago.

It's a great watch, keeps great time and I'm very happy with it.

As for me if I pay $500 for a rep I expect great things from it, if I pay $100 I'm not going to pick too many holes in it.

Did you get the White or Black face?

I think the Gen White is really a light silver, or at least a shimmery white - not flat white. Is the rep accurate?

To answer your question, I have a Cartier Santos 100 with a 21J movement and it keeps great time. The second hand on a $300 rep might run smoother though.

BTW ... I just bought a white face 21J from a trusted dealer (trusted on another forum) for $78, not incl. shipping. From what I can see in the photo, the face is white-white, not silver-white. PM me for the link if you want.
