I've been drifting around Timesshop.net and got into looking at 111's. I noticed that for the most part they all have a 6497 movement, but their prices vary from $88 up to $235.

On the site they all look to be of the same quality though I know they are probably using the best reps to do these images, but is there going to be that much of a cosmetic difference once you get the watch?

The cheap ones don't have the Swan neck amounsts other small details, if your going for a keeper spend the dough. Let us know how it goes and post pics!

The cheap ones will have a cheaper grade of movement (no swan neck), often mineral crystal instead of sapphire, different crown guards, etc.

If getting to see if you like Pams, go cheap. If getting a keeper, go high end.

Visually, there isn't much of a difference. The main difference is the feel of the watch. It's difficult to describe, but cheapo versions always feel cheap.

I agree here, if youre not sure buy a cheap-o version. If it grows on you good then you can get a better and sell your cheap-o

The prices of a really accurate PAM have plummeted in the past year. The best 111 you could buy used to be $800, now it is $200-250. With prices being so relatively low, you are at a bit of a risk with the cheapies if you decide to sell. You will probably have to take a larger percentage of a loss. If you get one of the H or N factory reps, your resale value will be significantly better. My $.02.

I read a thread with a bunch of pics of a NoobFactory watch and it seemed very very good, so I would go for this one. :)
