I found this 38.55mm dial on Alibaba for $24 and I wanted some opinions on it.

Is it a fantasy dial?
Just how bad is it?
Would you choose gold or black hands?

I’d be using it for my first build, so super rep status isn’t important.

I can say one thing, this is a branded dial that is suitable in diameter, and possibly thickness.
There is no need to talk about accuracy here, but if you don’t have anything, then you can start with this.

Actually you would want 10x14 hands. The seconds hand is 4.5mm

Sorry I thought the dial was 34mm. If it’s really 38-39 then yes, 17mm hands
