Cheap 21j Bentley vs. the "Good" ones, Why can't the factory

Now let me start by saying that I love the new 6.75 Big Date. It's a very solid watch and gets alot of wrist time since I got it last week. The 1 sided AR isn't bad, better than I thought actually.

Now I have a POS $37 Bentley that I picked up. It's terrible. The B on the second hand is back wards lol typical non-functional chrono's with the day of the week etc.... But it has HEAVY double AR.

How can they put such an AR on such a bad rep, yet struggle so much with putting AR on the Breitling's that are near perfect otherwise?

Is it really A/R? Looks like tinted glass to me, many of the cheap reps use tinted crystals to give the a/r effect. Crystal should disappear under most conditions, only look blue based on the reflection of light.

Yep definitely AR. The crystal looks like it doesn't even exist most of the time unless it's held at an angle under the light.
