Changing the strap on my 604 ....

FIRST time changing the strap on my 604 ..... what I thought was only going to take 10 min.... took FOREVER !
on one side.... 2 screws loosened ok.... went back in with alot more trouble.

the other side one screw loosened up ok but the OTHER one just kept turning and turning and TURNING and would NOT let go of the wire to come out.

finally it did.... and THEN I had ONE HELL of a time getting that side back in.... and the screw on the side I had trouble with.. would not tighten.... just kept turning...
finally.... it tightened. anyone else having problems changing straps.

WOW ! if that's the way its gonna be.... this strap is staying on there a while. lol

something just doesn't seem right... or am I just new at this ?

LOL ! I DID !
watching the video was the first thing I did before I changed the strap.
I watched it like 3 times.

I knew how to do it but the watch was not cooperating.
After I got the strap on the wires... I couldn't get the wires to go back into the watch ... without alot of effort.
but I stuck with it.... trying over and over again to coax them in.
finally I got it. but it took a LONG time.

and why that one screw just wouldn't let go of the wire so I could pull it out ... who knows.
maybe I have a defective screw.

anyway.... maybe I'll keep working on it over and over.... maybe thats all I need to do.
