I have a Rep 217 from a M2M sale.
I am wondering if the size of the Sapphire Crystal on the 217 is similar to that on the 127 Fiddy. I noticed my friend's 127 Fiddy has High Domed Crystal.
I just love the High Domed Sapphire Crystal and am thinking of changing the Sapphire Crystal on my 217 to the High Domed type used on the 127 Fiddy.
Can this be done? I understand the WSO Sapphire Crystal would be a good choice. Is there a risk that the High Domed Crystal may not fit the casing on my 217 ?
Also, is it difficult to DIY or its better to send the watch to a watchsmith? What kind of Tool do I need to change the Crystal?
Any tips, advice and recommendations would be greatly appeciated.
