Changing a Fiddy Strap Looking for Help

Got the Davidsen Fiddy, but I cannot remove the strap. Was able to do it with my other rep, but Davidsen's just turns but does not come up. Am I doing something wrong? Please Help.

You're not doing anything wrong. The screw is busted. Just push it out from the other side, and get some spring bars from River.

The spring bars makes it even easier to switch straps IMHO.

So if you have a strap fetish like me, those bars are a must!!

The two gentlemen in the previous posts are 100% correctomundo. For some reason, the rep manufacturers
think we don't want to change their cheap straps and produce screws that strip if you burp or fart.

With a Davidson this should not happen...send it back, that is only my opinion
