Change Parts at Narikaa PO 45

Hi there,

one question:

Is it possible to change parts into gen-parts at the Planet Ocean 45 mm from Reg (Narikaa)?

I think, swap dial into gen will be better than relume the rep dial, am I right? Hope its possible ...

I think the 21j movement won't work with a Gen dial.
Most us a UPO that has either an ETA or ETA clone.

I have a reg PO, and though it is a great watch for the price, I wouldn't consider paying for gen parts for it!

No doubt, but the lume is - like nearly every rep - a little thin ... why not make it better? And the price of a gen dial is not much higher than reluming ...

The mounting of your 21J movement is the problem. The Gen dial is set for ETA.
Start with a UPO w/ ETA clone if this is a project you want to proceed with.
This is my advice.

I'm not a tech guy. I'm sure there is more written about this same issue on the board.

Get a UPO with ETA clone movement.
Your Narikaa PO has a 21J movement.
The Gen dial is set to mount to an ETA not a 21J.
