CG screws

Will "gen" or gen type CG screws fit the thread pattern of a rep? I lost a CG screw today and bought new ones on ebay.

They won't fit a Jackson mini-fiddy (44mm 1950 shape), I know that much. I bought them off eBay and they were too big.

Can't say about the more modern reps or other manufacturers.

I noticed the CG rep screws were cut to be made shorter. I bought some off fleebay and hope they work. I really dont want to retap the holes, but if I have to I guess I will.
