Hi have a 36 with CG pin flushed on the back but dimpled on the front. Any suggestion as to how to flip it around so that the pin is flushed with CG?

you can gently tap it from the back and flush it up with the fron. That is what I have done with my two Pams

Yep, good method. I actually wanna switch the pin out and put it back in as the front has a dome and the back is flush. Can it come out like a pin link?
I did this mod on my 36, the pin will just pop out, but you have to drill out just a bit to have it sit flush once you flip it.

@natron,
yup that works on standard rep CG's but the lever pin on 036 CG is installed upside down (thin end @the top, thick @ the bottom), so for a nice flush finish on the top, it (pin) needs to be reversed, i.e. installed from top down.
