Bought the newly released CF GMT Master II Pepsi and the click spring seems…. Non Existent? Lol

Looking to replace it but only springs I see on eBay are for 16710. Anyone know if the gen2: 216710 (which this is a Rep of) has any difference at all in the click spring or are they absolutely the same?

Yes please keep me posted! If you get that satisfying *click* when rotating bezel after replacing with the new spring.

It’s not like I NEED it as I don’t really set my bezel to another TZ ever but I am that guy that no and then rotates the bezel because I find it satisfying to hear that *click click click*. Haha

Just a question. How much have you paid for the gen clickspring? I am also looking for one but had so far no luck.

I can't quite attest if I'm getting a true GEN spring but on Ebay, what was marketed as such was only $8 plus shipping. Cheap enough for me to buy and try cause anything will be an improvement from current status as my bezel spring is virtually non existent.

Ok, then it is not Gen. But if is s a cheap solution for the problem. Please tell us, if this works.

Gods own country! Yorkshire.
Did you not see a pic of what you were buying! This is indeed a click spring for a 5 digit Submariner. We’ve all done that though when getting parts for these!

The bezel of the GMT Master II is not supposed to *click* (not like the click from a Submariner). It's more like a smooth rotation with a softer resistance. This round clickspring is connected to the bezel and runs over the waves of the retaining ring during bezel rotation. Every time these inner „spikes“ from the spring run over the waves only a smooth click will be created. Sometimes these chinese clicksprings rings are "bent" wrongly so that it runs too loose/too soft or too tight over the retaining ring. It helps to play with the bending of the spring.

Did you remove the bezel with a knife without taping the case? I hope the scratches on the lug are not that bad.
