I just got this beautiful white dial 116520 from CF and I immediately noticed that there is a weird angle between the lugs and bezel that shouldn't be there:
Video

I compared mine to recent 116520 QCs and it appears that all newer CF 116520 and even some 116500 have this issue. I haven't found anyone noticing this issue even though it is really obvious. Is this a well known issue? Can something be done to fix this?

I’m honestly trying my hardest to see what’s wrong here, but I can’t spot anything. I’m glad I don’t have eyes as sharp as some of you guys, it probably saves me a lot of headaches in this hobby 😅

None of my CFs have this issue either, but I did buy them last year. Let me scour some QC to check for this issue.

No, its a stock CLEAN bezel. Modded with polish machine, but only engravings, not shape.

That bezel looks great! Is it an easy process to polish it? Maybe this can be done to the angle too so it disappears? You seem to be german too, can you recommend a watchsmith who can do that?

I am Swiss, i dont do recommandstions.
Till this day I was never 100% satisfied with a job of a watchsmith, so I did all by myself or it was been done by friends.

You can polish the bezel by hand and it will improve the 3d effect. I've done it to both of my 116520s.

Both of my Clean 116520s have this lug issue. My Clean 116500 is fine. Doesn’t really bother me.

I hope this helps. It’s like they become flat just before the bezel - there’s a visible angle (As if the bezel wasn’t large enough to cover that part of the case that shouldn’t be visible).

Crazy shit - mine has it as well!
