I remember seeing this blue buckle on Distefano's site and Simona told me it was just a buckle they had for a short time as a test run/limited time.
Then just a few minutes ago, jssaw this 508 on corrigias site and at first I thought it was like a limited piece or a custom piece.
Then I realized it was lighting that makes the ceremic bezel look bluish
If that bezel had that blue color on the black ceramica case, I think it would look pretty sick.
So sick, if I could figure out how to get the the bezel to get that blueish tint to the ceramic bezel, I'd love to try it.
Thoughts?
I'm kinda on the verge of insanity here because of social distancing so it's very possible that I'm alone on an island on this one.
If I could refinish the bezel on my 1616, I'd give it a go. Or would I be better off with a steel bezel/ceremic bezel over the Carbotech?
I think that blue tint would especially look good on a 1616.
I know we have some engineers in the house and some who refinish metals.
Tell me I'm nuts and to leave it before I ruin the watch completely.
