So, I'm after a nice looking Pam, and you guys are probably the ones I should ask. Im particularly drawn to the ceramic and carbotech models, (I like black watches) Thing is that I've read that a lot of carbotech reps are incredibly fragile and are not worth it. So perhaps a ceramica would be better? I tried on a gen PAM luminor GMT and I fell in love.

What models and from what factories would be the cream of the crop? Are there any things I should specifically look for when searching for a ceramica/carbotech? I hope you lot can give me some pointers. Also if this is in the wrong forum, please could it be moved, I'm never good at putting things in the correct forums.

Many thanks!

I'm not really a careful person, so ceramica works for me.. very scratch-resistant. In terms of material used, I think the quality of the ceramic watches is comparable w/ gen. Not really sure about carbotech, but the latest version of PAM616 has just been released (https://puretime05.com/pam616-carbo...p-9000-super-clone-v3-free-leather-strap.html). When comparing w/ the gen photos, I think they still need to work on the carbon patterns for the CG and the case... just some personal opinions.

I don't know what to think of with radomir models. I want to say I like them, but then I want to say the case looks a bit meh without that crown guard. I may drop some money on them primarily due to the cost being so little in comparison to the 4410. It says its from the VS factory. Would you happen to know if the PAM's from VS are good in comparison to the other factories out there? I'm out of the loop when it comes to what factories are best for specific models.

My seiko everyday beater is scratched to buggery. It gets most of its war scars from work in all honesty. I doubt I'd wear the PAM to work, but it's good piece of mind to know that it shouldn't scratch as easy. I was always thinking that the ceramicas would be anodized, and thus would wear and scratch quite easily in all honesty.
