Finally did it. Third try at getting this waterproof has worked great. It took a bit more than just greasing gaskets though. I had t gring the CG to fit better, and mod the lever to not move so much. Then added some high temp gasket maker for auto engines into the crown to make a thicker gasket on which to set the normal one. Finally making the stem a bit shorter t better screw the crown in and adding a small plastic to the inside to keep the movement from moving when closing the cg. Also sprayed the strap with some water repellant. Not sure how waterproof it is in depth but i wouldnt doubt its good enough for any water ill see.
Anyhow pics
