CC payment for intime

I thought I would post my experience of paying with CC when purchasing a watch with Intime as I can't find anything about it.

Purchased my first watch today using credit card. Intime send you a link and instructions via email on how to pay.

You are asked to visit a different website that sells watch parts where you fill your basket to the same amount as your watch/shipping. Then pay at check out using your credit card.

They say this is because most payments for replicas don't work and are declined.

I am happy to use this payment method just read instructions carefully and they are very simple to follow.


I hope this is OK to post, I can see how people might not be confident with this and have seen someone posting about this method being used and calling it "dodgey"

Awaiting confirmation from Ryan/Intime that they have recieved payment.

You used a one-time virtual card number, not your real card with actual credit on it, right?

If not, ooooops. Not a good idea. This is not to say that a TD cannot be trusted. They can be trusted.

Just not their external card processors. Very problematic topic, with people having shady charges after using their regular cards for rep purchases, unfortunately.
