Cats are great to have ! I thought I had the perfect most beautiful Siamese bright blue eyed female until my neighbors Siamese tom raped her one night [yes we heard it on the roof top] and had a litter of great kittens. Then the kittens were all over the top of the drapes and curtains and you had to constantly get them down all of the time. It was a riot all day long. "The mother just watched". The dogs howled to the crys of the screaming kittens stuck on the curtains. "The mother just watched". I slowly gave each and every beautiful kitten to friends and relatives. "The mother just watched". One day I went for a haircut with my 'mother' Siamese cat in tow with me. In its carrier and all its parapharnelia. With tons of food. I got a free haircut from my long time barber that day as I presented him with 'The Gift". "The mother cat just watched", as I walked away. After a couple of months and back for a haircut, my barber said she was stolen in broad daylight in the front yard, in front of all the neighbors. "The neighbors just watched". Nowadays when I come in for a haircut, me and my barber "just watch" the TV. And never mention that beautiful cat again.

THat's funny about the drapes. and reminds me of the first bobcat I rescued. I used to have curtains in my house and long drapes and they quickly became shredded drapes within a couple weeks. lol. Had to take them all down, and then eventually took down the valances once he was big enough to be able to jump to the top of the windows and tear them down. lmao. Never messed with the blinds though, but then when I got Benji he started destroying the blinds. So now I don't have any window coverings. lol
