According to PT, the rubber strap for the rep will be out in a few months...

But, the rep steel band is so good that it does not really bother me!

True the steel band does look great, guess i am upset at it has to significantly different to my other watch (40th aniversary bond) in order to get the purchase past my missus ha ha theres no-way she'll go for them being different unless i can say " but look dear this one has a rubber strap and different styling ha ha "

Get the Bond PO with SS bracelet for now... exploit her tolerance... let her cool... then get the rubber straps when they come... and tell her, "LOOK! Less than $50 and I've now a 'new' watch with rubber straps!"

I had purchased a gen rubber strap for my black bezel PO and wasn't very impressed and think the black bezel looks better with stainless bracelet. Then purchased orange bezel version and rubber strap looks way better than steel on this version.

No offence, but I think the Orange bezel looks plain wrong on the rubber.
