I thought the film was far better than any of the recent Bond films. With good old fashioned motives for the bad guys - not universal domination etc. Yes Connery is still the all time best, but its early days for Craig.
Moore was getting too camp-comedy and cheesy while Brosnan was too slick and 'pretty' to get beat up.
As HM govt assassin, Craig did a good job, IMO!

An all round hard man who learns from his mistakes the hard way. Why else would he and the film get nominations at the BAFTAs...in fact, its the only Bond film I've watched more than twice in a short time span!
My 'critique' has nothing to do with the fact that I live a few mins away from where he grew up as a lad!
