Case construction like genuine but running secs @9?

Hello,

I love how the gen case is constructed, in particular how the case back screws link into the bezel screws, but I want the everyday reliability of the secs @9. So far with all my searches I have not been able to find a secs @9 with the case construction like genuine; also I would like the dial markings of the sec @9 to be correct.

Is this possible? I would appreciate any help here.

Thanks in advance

Depends what you mean by correct dial markings @ 9.

The MBW has running seconds @ 9 and a dial with correct markings as per Gen.
To me that is completely wrong and an instant tell. I would prefer to have the dials showing their real function.

But it could be claimed to be correct as per Gen.

Hi mbjoer and thanks for the reply.

I agree and would like the dial to show the real function of the seconds @9.

To me I like the elegance of the case construction first and foremost, and with this I prefer to have the 7750 movement as it was designed instead of the compromise solution required to put secs @12.

Thanks

Agree completely.

There is almost nobody outside this forum (and AP dealers) who would know that the seconds should be @ 12.
But they can all tell something is wrong when a minute only has 30 seconds... :(

so can anyone help? I am hooked on the ROO and if I cant get a decent secs @9 with the genuine case detail i.e. case back screws link into the bezel screws, I might just have to "compromise" with the latest cream dial safari @12 on black rubber..................please put me out of my misery before I pull the roo trigger!

Thanks

Just get a sec@12 AP ROO. You can always get it fixed if you ever have an issue.

You think so? Using what non existent spare parts pray tell?
Mate spares for these are not available so if anything is broken, say goodbye.
If you want a sec@12 have it serviced as soon as you get it and either graphite treated or DLC coated
to give it the best chance of a trouble free existence.
