Hi, new to the site; love Breitlings but losing my mind. Problem in a nut shell. I have a couple of Breitlings but am not a fan of the black or chrome cases. I am older so I want Arabic numbers not tick marks on the watch so I don't end up wrongly guessing the time. I am finding it difficult to get the case I am looking for because most sites use stock photos of their top level watches or of "real" models. In addition to that the lighting in the photos plays all kinds of tricks in falsely representing what the case of the watch will actually look like. I want a brushed nickel type finish. not chromed or polished. Am I correct in assuming that "titanium" is lighter than "titanium dlc" and that "316L" stainless would be much lighter than either? Dealers will not send photos of actual watches taken in normal lighting conditions, which makes it difficult. I had one promise me a brushed case Bandit which ended up coming with a chrome case (which he got back). I really like the "Avenger Boutique Edition V17210TI" but for every 6 photos I can find showing it a medium grey shade, 6 show it almost black. I like the Bandits but don't care for the chrome numbers, but that's my style. Any suggestions for an old man will get you Karma points. thanks

Unfortunately, I can't help you much, not a Breitling Guy.
As far as I understand, you don't like polished steel, so you'll have to look for brushed finishing. Titanium doesn't shine like steel, it has a natural matte appearance, maybe a very faint yellowish/brownish hue to it, but that is probably just due to the alloy. Some swear it has a more blue tint, so.... The Tag autavia has a brushed case, but the bracelet's center links will be polished... It's a nice watch though.
