Case Back Threads Stripped on replacement?!

Hello all,
I just received my replacement watch from one of our trusted dealers, only to find upon inspection that the case back was not seated correctly when put back on, leading to a stripping of the threads! And this was a replacement that was supposed to have been thoroughly tested before shipping to me in Japan in order to avoid any other problems like those in the beginning. And to top it off, it was supposedly going to be water tested as a bonus for the problems I incurred, only to find upon case back removal that the seals have no trace of silicone grease (not to mention the date wheel has play in it....if I tilt the watch the date moves up, tilt back and the date drops back down!). I get no response from this trusted dealer, but want to give him some more time before exposing him here on the forums, so wanted to ask what the odds are of me having this watch's threads faced? Probably not good, but anyway, thought I'd ask since I am pretty much disappointed with this whole transaction. Could have paid half for the same watch in China, but decided to go with someone in the US since I thought it might get through customs easier. Anyway, if anyone has any advice on a fix, I would really appreciate it, as for now I have no idea how long this case back will hold the way it is. Thanks in advance.

Are the threads stripped on the case back or in the case? If on the back you might be able to clean them up with a triangular (three-square) swiss/jewelers file. I have some extra "generic" backs for 36mm like Datejust but not sure if they would fit a GMT...

Stripped in the case, so I think I'm just screwed!
I managed to get the case back to stay on for now,
but that's about as far as it will go! I knew something was
terribly wrong when the case back wouldnt unscrew smoothly
even though I was using a Rolex case back opening tool!
First time I've ever received something like this & I have to say
its forkin ridiculous! Thanks a lot for your input guys!
