I just used a rubber dish glove to open my Davidsen 009, but I have Tanfo's caseback opener on its way. Also got a suction caseback opener from Ofrei for the 47mm casebacks.
i use that guy that sells them on ebay , do a search , they r pricey but u can tighten them down properlly with that tool but if u r not concerened about that then u dont need it to take most off, i only got it so i can tighten then down good , they r blue and look like a shoe horn lol
JAXA-style caseaback opener and closer is one of the best case back opener/closer tools. The original from well known watch tools manufacturer can cost you about $80-100. You can go for Indian replica of this tool. Cost half of the original. This opener won't work on big PAM watches (47mm). This will leave you the rubber as an option.
LOL ..Im just kidding mate...stilll not to worries about to open my watches...coz..nothing can be done..Im not good in repairing watches..so better not spend money to buy 1 opener out of the ebay ...just to look at the movement...
Yep, the green sticker would be history useing the duct tape method. I have opened all my reps with the duct tape except for my Pam. It is on really tight or I can't get enough grip on the clear caseback. Works wonders on the subs though.
