HI everyone.
I'm a big fan of Cartier. I'm started this topic just to explain my issue with the AF factory because her latest edition of Tank Solo have engraving issue on the back. I just want to know if other people did have the same problem.
Here's the story :
- I ordered from Chazing Time a " AF Tank Solo large model quartz"
- BUT, when i got the the QC pics the reference on the back was "3167" and not "3169". The pic is below .
It's a big deal. Why? Because the reference 3167 is the large Cartier Tank solo 18k gold model.
- After a negociation with Chazing Time I bought the same model (Tank Solo arge Quartz) but from the ZF factory.
- And honestly guys I'm a bit disapointed. I 've already seen the AF version of Tank Solo the quality is higher : on the ZF the painting of roman numerals is too thick, when you compare with a genuine Tank solo you can immediatly spot the difference. Moreover, there's visible dust on hands and dial. To my opinion the AF version is better, and it's too bad the reference numbers on the back are wrong this time.
Can anyone tell me if the problem is recurrent ?
If you ordered a Tank Solo. Do you have a preference depending on the factory ?
Have a nice day.
