Cartier Santos 100XL - how to set time?

I just got this PVD watch (the $400 model). It seems that I am incompetent because I can't figure out how to set the time.

Unscrewing the crown does nothing, and pulling the crown out doesn't seem to do anything.

I assume pulling the crown is the only way but it seems really tough and I'm not sure how to pull it without some sort of tool and hate to risk scratching it :facepalm:

Nevermind, got it with the cunning use of a credit card. Pulls straight out as assumed. Just VERY stiff.

It should loosen up with use.

well i think we need a pic or two to verify you actualy have this watch with a stiff crown.
