I'm interested in buying a high end Rep Cartier Santos 100 chrono in SS. From the research I've done ,the flaws on this model seem to be the incorrect bezel and back plate screws ( dome shaped instead of flat ) , and what bugs me most is the recessed date wheel. I came accross a seller on youtube called sinowatches. He displays all of his watches in short video clips. His video clip on the Santos 100 chrono shows a pretty accurate version of the model ,with the only flaws being the date wheel and bezel/back screws. But when you go to his website the model that is displayed shows a version with an incorrect protruding cabouchon , but with the correct flat bezel screws. I contacted him and was told that the model in his Youtube clips was the one he had available and the one pictured on his website was no longer available. I can't understand how one manufacturer can use the correct screws, but the wrong cabouchon , and the other use the correct cabouchon with the wrong screws? I've read that many members perform mods on their watches to get them to look more accurate, but was wondering if there are members that do these mods for others. If so can anyone recommend someone and give approximate pricing for mods such as correcting the recessed date wheel. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't buy off anyone who isnt a trusted dealer. If you want something email a few pics to HONT, he is a trusted dealer here, and has great prices and see if he can source it for u. As for modders the only ones I know that might do it is Rex on RG...

Would be nice to see an accurate rep. I have also heard that the Youtube seller is not reputable.
