I bought my rep here in Brasil.
But it got some little flaws that I'm fixing
The hands were blue,
The mag has a fix flaw,
The date wheel was misaligned,
The bracelet didn't disconect from the case.
But, all in all, and these problems fixed, it is very very close to gen.

@ Max, Congrats on the gen Cartier. Cartier watches are fantastic and full of panache. Enjoy

gen is superb.. and maxlawbr is king of make rep closest to gen!

a side to side comparison would be cool, you know maybe see if we can figure out the gen from the rep :?:
Got the same model from PreciousTime a year or so ago. Took awhile for him to source the correct hand color and bracelet. Hardest thing for him to source was a caseback that was engraved, not laser.
I have seen the same Roadster model on a dealer site recently. Look around the known dealers and you should find it. It`s a nice rep, underrated Imo.

Sorry, this is my gen, I'm very councious with the forum rules, and this is the gen section.
I'll take some picts of the box, cards, leather travel case, brush, clean spray, books and black leather strap.
I'll take it in the saturday, and will post these photos in the forum.
The biggest difference between the gen and the rep, is the gen crown (very hard to turn) and the replica case, I think, is a little thick than the gen.
When i have my rep in hand I'll make a side by side shot.
BUT this is the real thing.

Do you realy think this watch is a rep? I'm not selling it, my wife gave it to me, I was with her in, probably, the most reputable jewelry, in the most luxury Mall in Sao Paulo.
Look at the screws on the case and the metal frame around the glass.
I have a lot of replicas, and lot of gen watches, I don't have any reason to tell you it is gen if it wasn't a gen, we are a brotherhood of replica watch. I don't have to exibith myself.
Now I ask you sincerely, which of you have this or have worn/used/take in hand closely this gen?

Hey maxlawbr, what I meant was the mag on all the reps I have seen were crappy. Yours most definitely is a Gen.
