Cartier Roadster S Replica - W6206017

Hi,

Here are some pictures of the Cartier Roadster, received from Puretime last week for around $280 USD.

The Gen runs an ETA2892, the Rep runs a "nickel plated Swiss ETA-2824-2 25J automatic movement at 28800vph".

I am not skilled or experienced enough to open up the watch to check myself, I have Google'd for the differences and these movements appear to have some similarities.

The watch feels really nice on, the links were very straight-forward to remove (in comparison to the omega seamaster po) and I am very pleased with it.

No problems to report so far, it is the most liked watch by others in my collection as it is not too big and it feels well made.

maybe I can help you too. the original roadsters are still available. Im not sure about the quick release feature working or not as I have yet to have one. You could indeed source all types of bands replica or genuine.

as for #2 if i had to pick one id say the ballon bleu. i had one and sold it to a friend and miss it immensely. Im a very well dressed person but i even struggled to wear the BB at first with casual outfits. However the roadster is also immensely classy and could be worn in formal situations as well without second though.

I thought the gen has a white date and magnification, or is that a different model?

That one is the newer Roadster S model. Some styling difference compared to the original Roadster.
