Cartier Calibre gem color

Hi, I just received my Cartier Calibre from a trusted dealer here and wanted your input. I received it last week but the blue gem was missing so I returned it with me paying postage and just received it again. I don't know if this gem is the correct size and I know it doesn't seem like the correct color. It's more like light blue, take a look at the pictures and let me know. Thanks

Missing gem so I returned it.

Received with gem put in but seems like the wrong color. More like light blue and not dark blue.

Gem looks too small and it's not sticking out like what I've seen from other people.

I would have thought a dealer who has sold alot of these watches would know better than sending me this color gem

Its generally an issue with the factory making the watch and parts. Not the dealer. What colour is it in the website? Or in the qc pics?

I gave up on the calibre a long time ago. Just too many inaccuracies for me but I haven't seen one with a cabochon this light.

Are you referring to the white dial caliber or the cartier caliber diver like the black dial/rose gold , etc.

The main tell I've fond is the inverted date wheel even thought the ZF quality is TOP notch and I've even held them side to side with a gen and they're almost identical, what "too many inaccuracies" are you referring to?

I'm not referring to the diver. I'm referring to the regular calibre. Most have the wrong subdial placement all of them have the wrong case shape at the lugs and the case is too fat etc etc

Lol sorry to break your heart on that one buddy. I had the gen and rep in hand and it's just a shame they couldn't get it right. Maybe they will eventually.

Maybe you didn't held the ZF caliber diver black dial hand in hand with the gen. I just did that yesterday at an AD and the ONLY thing that cries rep is the movement and the inverted date wheel.

No I didn't but that's a completely different watch. Thicker case, diver bezel, and a rubber strap you can't really compare the diver to the regular calibre and you may not want to admit that you had your rep at the Cartier boutique it's frowned upon. The funny thing is a the standard 21j calibre has the correct date wheel go figure

There are cartier diver reps out there with the correct date wheel but they're the first horrible version, with the plastic transparent bezel insert, not the ZF one.

No, the AD is actually a jewelry, a big one with many brands like rolex, hublot, etc. and one of the sales man (woman) is my friend, so she knew and didnt care. she owns a citizen herself doe stn have the cash to buy one of the very watches she sells. she's just a store employee.
