Hi guys,
just got QC pics from a TD here. The rep at first sight is great! all the other QC pics angles are great for me except one.
Please advice if I'm being anal or if this is acceptable. I see the IWC guys obsesses over the smallest of details like an otherwise almost 100% perfect "7 day PR" and just because it doesnt have a "sunburst" or the color is "off" they return reps to the TDs for these minuscule flaws. Not to mention the Rolex guys, so I don't think I'm exaggerating here but my TD insists this cannot be perfect and if he gets another one it will also have another flaw, which I'm certain it will, but to me this one cannot be unseen once its seen and its not so minuscule.
The pictures of this very same model from intime, pure time, qs watch, etc all show perfect dials without any flaw whatsoever. Apparently this version of the cartier caliber from JF is VERY good.
My only complaint is (I know, the 4 square indices at 3,6, 9 and 12 have the lume of different sizes, not aligned / centered inside of the square) but I don't even care that much for that, my most important complaint is, the III roman numeral has white paint smudged and bled into the blackdial. I repeat, on the pictures of this same model from all TDs the dials don't have any of this and the indices lume is perfectly made and all numerals perfectly aligned and printed.
this is my QC:
And here I highlight in red circle the flaw that bothers me, the other ones are forgivable to me but this one I think not.
Please, your opinions are very valuable and will prove useful to me.
thank you!
