Cartier Ballon Bleu lady?s eta 2671 vs japanese NH05

Hi fellas, I'm about to pull the trigger for a 33mm Ballon Bleu for the lady and I'm not 100% sure buying the ETA at a cost of USD 418 is worth it, or if buying the USD 248 version with Japanese NH05 is as good.

Not an expert on the V6F Ballon Bleu itself, but I can give an input on the movement. The NH05 works just fine like in Seiko watches and its a stable movement, parts easily accessible. As for the ETA, just get the Asian clone, factories mostly reuse genuine ETA movements, so it might be worse than a clone, as for parts also easily accessible. Both works just fine, but the ETA would be more accurate. After all its a rep, losing a few secs daily isn't gonna get it called out.

Why not try the quartz version? It's much cheaper and most ladies I'm told prefer quartz for low maintenance

Np glad to help! I'm about to get myself a 42mm one with a2824, i'll choose eta clones for the accuracy and stability. Imo the price diff of almost 200usd, imo just get the NH05 one you'll still be happy with it.
