Hello..

Just received my 43mm Carrara day/date, I love this watch and it looks more amazing on the wrist than in the photos, But!

Is it common for the chrono to reset slightly off centre?

My AR looks great but if you place a light on the sapphire its full of swirls, would this be a crap AR job or the sapphire its self .??

I'm assuming my AR can be fixed easily enough, But I hope its not the glass that is scratched....Any recommendations
I'll try get some pics up ASAP

Thanks

Damien

I have the white one and the black one and I think the AR is above average. The black versions dial looks black indeed (AR can sometimes make dials appear to be a little grey). Also when you put it under a light the light-source is seen in de sapphire only small (some bad AR models let it appear bigger). I see no swirls on my watches. Can only guess but i think it is due to a bad AR job. Also my watches resets perfectly. I have however seen that more people have trouble with this model and they have very bad QC at the factory it seems. Specs of dust and bad aligned numbers on the dial for instance. This is for sure one of the better reps but I suggest to potential buyers to choose a dealer that that does not drop-ship and gets a good specimen for you when you buy one of these.

Thanks for the reply Timemaster,

Overall I am happy with my rep, All numbers align and there is no specs under the sapphire..I only notice the swirls on the glass if I point a light directly onto it, Out in the sun and all other light the AR does looks amazing.
And apart from the chrono not resetting to 0 perfectly I'm very happy with the watch overall.....

I will put some photos once I have a little time soon.

I have a new issue!!!

I'm sure this is not normal, When I start my chrono the time virtually stops working..?? I let the chrono run for 10mins and my time lost 8mins???

I'm starting to think I should just send it back to the dealer

I Don't want to name any names at this stage, As the dealer is so far being very cooperative to this point. Once it is sorted I will write a review on the situation.

Thanks Damien

Sounds like the movement is just dirty or lacks lubrication. You'll find that to be a common theme with replica watches. The replacement the dealer sends you may have issues of its own.

This is true, But I'm also not happy with the sapphire so I feel safer starting from scratch ...

If you look close at were the light is shining you will notice swirls in the AR
