First of all I would like to greet you as this is my first post.

Yesterday I ordered on Pure Time (link to site verified and taken from this forum) my first replica. I decided to pay with Mastercard, but the payment did not go through. Today I logged into the bank and saw the information about the card being blocked. I called the hotline and found out that they tried to charge two payments to entities not named Pure Time in the amount of $599 each (for two different companies), I made the payment only once and it was for the amount of $458.10.

I understand that the payee may be a company not named PT for known reasons, but trying to charge the card twice for two different companies and with an amount much higher than the order value is very alarming. The bank informed me that if the card had not been blocked, I would have had negative $1198 (2x$599) in my account today, while I was supposed to pay $458.10 for the watch.

I'm new here and I may not understand something, but I'm scared solid and I'm afraid to try to pay for the order again. Did something like this happen to you? How should I interpret it?

Did you reattempt after the payment did not go through?

The first time I ordered the payment would not accept, and my bank locked my account for fraud. Even after speaking to them the payment would still not process, finally I used a different card. They do use a payment processor so it's normal for it to be charged with a different name.

Please kindly email us the screenshots for these two transactions and the billing names that was charging your card. We can double confirm with our CC company. Sometimes it might be retried by bank when the first attempt fails .

Thank you for your answer, I did not reattempt the payment, the more I was surprised that there was another attempt to withdraw money from the card and from another recipient. I also see a reply from PureTime, I will try to work out with them what could have happened.

That you payed double is not normal.

Thank you for your quick response. I can't see the details of the transactions in the statement as they were blocked, the names (two different) of the recipients who wanted to charge the card were given to me yesterday by the helpline employee who asked if I confirm such transactions, I refused and my card was cancelled. It is not a big problem, because the new one is already on its way.

I understand that the second payment could be triggered after the first payment was rejected to see if the bank would accept the second payee. More puzzling is the higher amount ($599 vs $458.10). Looks like it's better to make the payment in bitcoin, cheaper and no surprises. The order number that the payment attempted was: 100247399.

Thank you for understanding. Payment for order 100247399 is confirmed failed. Please make a new order with bitcoin if you worry about the extra charges. Thank you
