I am just finalizing my order on a Carbotech Pam 661 https://watchoutlet01.com/pam661-carbotech-v6f-best-edition-on-brown-leather-strap-p9010.html

I have seen some pictures of the Ceramica Pam https://watchoutlet01.com/watches/p...-best-edition-on-ceramic-bracelet-p9001b.html

While I am sure i want the carbotech I simply LOVE the ceramic bracelet. Would I be able to put the ceramic bracelet on my Carbotech watch? Do the bracelet even fit on the carbotech model?

Also if anyone want to sell their ceramic bracelet PM me:)

Best regards Bananlaksen

I am not sure it can be done at all. It's the way the lug holes are designed on the PAM661. There is no side hole to poke the spring bar free and the current end links do not allow for any space to push the spring bars to get it out. Maybe you can fit the bracelet, but I am not sure you can remove it afterwards. It would be a permanent installation.

Ok thanks for the answers. Ill settle for a leather strap then. Can any of you guys recommend a good strap maker. Thinking of black leather strap with blue details to match the watch

What do you want to spend...?

Google Panerai straps and decide for yourself...

I have the pam 438 and 616.

I would be more worried that the ceramic links destroyin the carbon lugs. Haha.

Not sure if the lugs would be able to withstand the ceramic rubbing against it without chipping.

Well even mounting the bracelet would prove to be a challenge (and like I said, removing it would probably be impossible afterwards).

That's what I am saying right? 438 ceramic bracelet is 24mm, 616 case is 26mm

Yeah, that's what you were saying. The question is will a bracelet from a PAM438 fit a Carbotech PAM 6 6 1. You are talking about a different Carbotech PAM 6 1 6. See the difference?

Well, we can't be certain because we can't fit it. But my PAM332 gets an upgrade from the bracelet, makes it look more tactical like. :) Quick and dirty shot. :)

Hahaha, well I wanted to clarify in case others might get the same (but wrong) idea. ;)

Use a springbar tool. The leather strap is soft enough that you can push it off to reveal the notch on the spring bar inside. Takes a few tries especially if you have not done it yet. Oh and be careful the springbar does not pop out and fly away. Do it in a confined work area.

Hi, thanks for helping out, I have changed quite a few spring bars in the past. When I push the strap to the side, on both sides and on both lugs, all I see a smooth tube. I am wondering if some idiot at the factories put the spring bar on a strap with a tube and pushed the f@cker inside. Or if I am the idiot and missing something.. will post pics..

Well a springbar is really composed of a fat tube with a spring inside pushing out two thin rods to lock into the holes. At the very least, wedging the springbar tool between the fat tube and the lugs should push the thin rod in and out of the lug hole.

Looks more like a tube (as in those for PAM 111) to me than a springbar
