So, I have reached out to a few builders and no luck on just simply getting the hands pressed back on my MiniFiddy that I've worn exactly three times after buying. I cannot get the owner to respond on the original builder and honestly, I am a bit over the thing.

However, the movement is fairly well received by most and I thought... Maybe someone who builds could build a watch that includes the movement and can maybe do something unique for me. I like the case. I like the CG. I even can stand the plexi. Just not really a fan of the worn and rustic look of the vintage hands and dial.

I'm thinking something like I buy (using simply as an example of a watch i do like) a 390, the builder takes the dial and hands from the vintage Fiddy and puts the 390 movement into the vintage piece and simply swaps motors. I then sell the MiniFiddy with the 390 engine and focus on a custom build with the Gen Swiss movement. Maybe transplanting into the 390 case, working the CG, using a sweet glass that maybe is AR on both sides, and maybe adding something awesome like blue hands... All wrapped on a custom band to bring that tabacco dial and the blue hands...

I like other models of course, but really like the classic and clean look of the 390 and similar others with that polished case and similar dark dial.

I just want a watch that works.

Again, here is the original sale thread for details, I pretty much am wondering if I can do this work on my own. I have built a few race motors in my day and think with the proper tools, I could pull this off. But the time is limited and really just want someone to do it and I get a turn key watch that is custom, I am proud to wear and above all... WORKS!!

I can help if it is as easy as pressing the hand back on, or swapping in new hands, dial or movement. Let me know, I'm from NY.
