I thought that I somehow messed up the keyless works, because I could not re-insert the stem. So, I took things apart to have a closer look. Don't mind that missing widget in the upper portion...it's just not re-installed yet.
In any event, you can see I've got the stem in as far as it will go. Anybody know why I can't get it in any further?

...somehow, a larger stem got put in the baggie with this. While I was putting it all back together, the little thingy that rests on the pinion...(clutch lever?)...poinged out and went bye-bye. Oh the joys of sorting this stuff out!
