Well Ill make this quick. I just bought a new Ruger gp100 357 mag with a 4in barrel. It is my first revolver and I really love it so far. it weights about 40 ounces. its a big gun (for me) and the trigger is amazing, very very smooth. i have only shot it a few times (been out of town since i bought it). i have been shooting some cheap white box jhp 38 spc +p out of it and i must say that there seems to be very little upward recoil. much more back into me then up (i am very happy and supprised with the recoil direction and force) which will really help me with my accuracy.
