Hmmm never seen this kind of movement... It looks like it had a rotor once and I assume, it's a modded / decorated DG type of movement. What kind of complications does it have? Power reserve, second at 6 or 9 etc.?

It is most likely a 7750 movement with the chronograph parts removed. That would be the standard movement for that watch and any older automatic Panerai

Thanks guys! Never got this in my mind that might be some modified chronograph movement.. 🧐 . I just found the "donor" and heres few pics for that.

Im currently in China so have to try found some from here.

But if i just found similar movement is it worth it or is there maybe better options already with reasonable price?

You can get a good quality A7750 for about $100. The rotor and deco plates can be transferred over, but my personal preference is leaning towards leave the new movement as is.

Thanks for your advice. So if i get A7750 can i just install it back to the case and leave chrono gear etc underneath and just put second hand its place to 9 o'clock?

If you leave the Chronograph gears on, it might not fit the case profile due to movement height.
