Appeared in the last couple of days on Andrews site.

I already have a 39mm fantasy Orange B&R and have been waiting for a 42mm. I was thinking of pulling the trigger on this but wanted your opinion on the quality and what flaws there are. Obviously this point is moot as most punters don't really know the brand but it would be helpful anyway.

Does this finally mean that we might be getting a swathe of 42mm reps? I would prefer the non-chrono version to be honest as a guy at work has a gen and I love the simplicity of it.

Let me know dudes.

The non chronos are out there (I bought back loads of both from my recent trip). Orange is NON lume tho.
Sold all mine to the first of my UK customers to see them  Mind you I didnt work any $50 screwdrivers onto him

The first thing I was intending to do was have it lumed, but I imagine that is a bitch of a job for this watch so wanted to wait until the 42mm came out. Seems like I should wait a few months and see what happens.

Was saving for a Hublot Black Magic, but now i've seen the price and the final product - i'll stick with my SS version....and have cash to splash elsewhere.

Ehm.. you know that it is quartz.. right? :) You need any bigger flaw? Narikaa, can you tell us how this quartz is working? Is it with jumping seconds? And what about the weight of the watch?

That being said, the dial has some small inconsistencies when compared to the gen. In the gen br 03-94 limited edition (black&orange) there is no "3" and "9" and there is the "Lts" mark. The date should not be inclined, it is in the correct position but goes sideways.

I am still trying to figure out if I will go for a 42 or a 46. My ?-PO of 45.5mm feels right size, and my 217 is my main beater. No way I can wear my subs.. I will strap them on Nato and use them for swimming ;) I should get the 46 right? If it weren't for those engraved screws on the back I would be all over it.

I don't mind what the motor is as noone can see it, I just want the dial/hands to look right. I also wear a 217 most days and It still feels tiny compared to the 46mm B&R which I tried on at an AD

I am afraid of this too, but can't find any AD locally to try it myself. BTW your work colleague has the br01 or 03? Could you make a photo of it next to your 217? :) Too much eh? Oh well, I had to ask!

I think you should wait a bit more to get a dial closer to gen. I have seen a prototype of the non chrono br03 (92) and it was good (asian caliber, ar etc) but had the wrong dial.. it was reading br92-02...while the back was reading br01-92.

Im personally not a big fan of the 42mm. I have to have bigger watches now. Enzo, I am with you on the strap. I had to change to a nato style strap on mine cause it just did not feel right. As far as the lume on the work onthe 47mm goes, I have some projects in mind that I need to find a moder up for the challenge. I am wiating on confirmation of lume colors for orange, baby blue and black. Should be tight if I can get them all done properly.

This rep has a couple of big flaws. The genuine BR03-94 only has 2 subdials, and they completely cover the 3 and 9. The date is straight on the real one too. Guess I'll have to wait a little longer for a good rep.

Yllwtrb, I work in a jewelery store who stock watches and i've tried the baby blue chrono on. It's very cool. I thought it would be a bit 'girly' but it looks great.

I have a 39mm PVD fantasy rep which I am going to get Fleed to lume it in black a la the Phantom - will post a piccy when its done.

I've currently got a genuine canvas strap on my B&R and it doesn't look amazing, neither does the leather. I'd go for rubber everytime, but Andrew says there are no plans to bring out a rubber strap for a 42mm yet.

geo1nah2a, I can't do the photo of the 42mm B&R and the 217 together for one simple reason. The only rep I can really wear at work is my ultimate PO and my HBB. The 217 is unmodded and a lot of staff here wear gen PAM's as we sell them. If I bought my 217 in they'd sus me and I don't think its really done to wear rep's in what is essentially a AD.
