Hey all.

I just bought a Logo Pam from one of our dealers. While the watch is great all around it has a couple of issues that boggle my mind. Firstly the hands did not have matching lume strenght, which is ok because the dealer has offered me a new set of hands. No biggie. The second is that the OP logo is crooked. Now it isn't crooked by much but nevertheless it is crooked. I asked about this, and was told that:
1. the PAM logo watches will no longer be produced so I should hang on to the watch, which is fine, and
2. all the Logo dials have been coming from the manufacturers like that.

My question is, has anyone purchased a logo dialed watch recently from the major distributors on our site, and if so were the logo's crooked?

now bear in mind that I really like the watch, and with the new set of hands can live with the crooked logo, I just want to make sure i am not being lied too.

IMO, I would send the watch back and get a refund. Then I'd go get Davidsen's 005 or 000. I could live with a logo that is a tick too big far easier than I could live with a crooked one.

I don't believe that DSN is planning on ceasing production of his logo dials anytime soon...

yeah, but davidsons are $200 more than what I paid for mine. I have heard different things about his quality, and really it is six of one and half dozen of the other. plus if i ship mine back i lose on the shipping costs.

I dunno. It's up to you, but the excuse "all the recent dials were printed crooked like that" is bullshit, IMO. If all the dials are incorrect, don't sell them or at least disclose the fact that the current batch of dials is flawed.

I couldn't live with a crooked logo, I know that for certain. Other than that, I'm afraid I can't offer much help.

well, i have never had to call out a dealer before. should I tell him that on the boards it is suggested i ask for a better dial?

i don't think i should be on the hook for shipping the watch back or purchasing a new dial. you would think they should send a replacement right?

Yes, I agree 100%. Even if the dealer sends you the hands/dial for free, you'll have to pay to have them installed or install them yourself.

The problem is that maybe this last batch is all screwed up. There isn't a new dial or replacement to be sent. Since they admitted that there is a flaw ("all the logo dials are printed crooked") I'd tell them that's too bad and you want a refund. Get them to pay for some of the shipping as they should have told you up front there was an issue. I'd get the DSN model.

Hi Pete,

I se that you have asked this question on other boards, too. It would help if you could post a photo of your crooked logo, both here and there...
